We all have a daily prayer that we pray every day. However,
when it comes to our children they need to pray a prayer too. Some of us were
brought up to say a certain prayer every night before we go to bed. As we came
to be adults we have pass the along to our children. That is something that is
something that is ingrained into you.
More than anything in today’s society with so many senseless
crimes as parents we need to prayer over our children in every way that we know
how. Then we need to train our children to pray too. Speaking life into their lives will be a blessing to them.
Here is an explanation of what a Childs prayer would
contain:
A Christian child's prayer is Christian prayer recited
primarily by children that is typically short, rhyming or has a memorable tune.
It is said before bedtime, to give thanks for a meal, or as a nursery rhyme.
Many of these prayers have a long tradition and come directly from the Bible.
Some adult prayers are equally popular with children, such as the Golden Rule
(Luke 6:31, Matthew 7:12), the Doxology, the Serenity Prayer, John 3:16 and,
for older children, The Lord's Prayer and Psalm 23.
This is a simple prayer for you to train your child to say every day:
A Child's Prayer for Morning
Now, before I run to
play,
Let me not forget to
pray
To God who kept me
through the night
And waked me with the
morning light.
Help me, Lord, to
love thee more
Than I ever loved
before,
In my work and in my
play
Be thou with me
through the day.
Amen.

When we raise our children up like the bible says then it will become a lifestyle for our child and not a habit. Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
