Adult Pressure-Is there too much pressure on you to be a perfect mom?

Is there really such thing as a perfect mom? The answer I would give to this is NO.

Reason why I say no is because when a woman has children and she is raising them to the best of her abilities and making the decisions to do all of the right stuff, somewhere as the child grows and then become an adult something goes wrong. She may have thought the entire long that she has all of her i's dotted and t's crossed in hopes of preventing something from going wrong.

However, having any kind of pressure and particularly adult pressure didn't come from God. God knows that there are many challenges, and problems that a mother is going to face. He knows a mother can't be a perfect mom. There are single mothers trying their best to provide the best for their children in their baby years and adult years. On the other hand a mother can face so much adult pressure from other adults to the point of her being confused and making the wrong decisions and putting her children in harm’s way.
Pressure that can be on a mother is:
  • Stress
  • Worrying
  • Living up to others expectation
  • Being insecure with herself
  • Financial problems
  • No job
  • Low self esteem
  • Putting others before herself
The list can go on for the kind of pressure that a mother will deal with. Nevertheless, when it comes to the amount of energy that a mother has exhausted herself with in raising her children, there is one thing that she should take away with having children. When we look back at our children we can learn from them in some kind of way.
In my conclusion God did not make a perfect mom. The Holy Bible gives us scriptures.
  • Isaiah 66:13
  • Psalm 139:13
  • Genesis 31:49
  • Proverbs 22:6
